I had been meaning to watch the movie “Wednesday” for nothing else but my two favorite actors in them. Just as we were entering the multiplex & discussing about the Delhi blasts & related events, Shashi Kapoor (unfortunately not the actor) a friend sent this thought:

“India suffers due to the noise of a few bombs and the silence of many Indians. Trying to whisper thru this SMS. Hope everyday is a ‘WEDNESDAY’”

The 2 hour gripping movie reinforced the thought, which then I shared with others, not knowing whether it was the right thing or not.

But to my surprise, received a lot of replies notable amongst them:

‘Brilliantly put my friend’
‘Exactly my sentiments’
‘Excellent movie & I agree’
‘When will the idiotic common man arise’
‘Albeit for all the wrong reasons the world does not take us seriously’
‘I still have to watch the movie but I sure am appalled at the silence & stand as much guilty as others’

And so on in the same vein………

It is at such time, that I feel proud of India & completely endorse a dialogue in the movie “We are Resilient by force not by choice”
