A long weekend and running out of excuses to take my wife to South Bombay on a couple of over due visits.

Off we went to Eros, where she had an appointment. I fiddled around till she finished and eyes fell on the newly renovated (actually quite a while ago) Sundance Cafe.

She agreed to try it out for an early snack. Quite noisy with nearly all tables full, but we quickly got a table and were handed over their menu, more like the Midday.

Interesting food, but did not want to eat too much, which left the non vegetarian bit out. Ordered our standard veg verification items – French fries – nice crisp; Garlic bread with cheese – good though would have preferred different cheese than the processed one used; Bruschetta – not upto the mark, small with just chopped tomatoes, nope not worth it.

However, I could not restrain myself and hence ordered a chicken burger their slider – superb, the bun was soft, the patty soft and succulent as ordered, with the sauce drizzled just right.

The service was warm, friendly and quick. But it gets crowded and the tables are too close to each other. Also, the music needs to be a bit softer.
