The elder and more elaborate cousin of Barbeque Nation I presume with a much larger place and more food options.

In the Non Drinking week, bunch of us decided to try it out for Friday evening. Booking made, landed up on time 8 pm; greeted courteously and escorted to the table left to wait for friends to join.

In the 15 minutes of wait, was asked about trial, drinks, where did I hear of them etc. And all of them were smiling.

As soon as the table was full, we began; though there was a vegetarian, for all practical purposes we said Non Veg.

The barbeque on the table followed the same pattern – Paneer, Mushroom, Pineapple, Corn, Brocolli for Veg and Fish, Chicken, prawns for Non Veg brought on the skewers and were delicious.

Prawns, Pineapple, Corn were a definite repeat.

This was accompanied by Dahi Puri, Sev Puri, Pani Puri brought to the table along with Cajun Potatoes and Tiki – everything was excellent and worth a repeat. Sheekh kebab was barely ok and could be given a miss.

A quick trial of Wish Grill, which was limited and really did nothing to add.

The option of Pasta, Pizza was not tried out.

The main course was exhaustive – chinese, Indian and it is a fixed menu. But dry masala Aloo in veg and laal maas in non veg are definitely worth a try; however the chinese was a definite problem that day; mostly gravy dish with plenty of luke warm water.

The fried rice was respectable but cold. Biryani was simple, not fancy & pretty ok; went well with the raita. The range of piping hot rotis, kulcha, naan were perfect accompaniments. The roasted papad needed to be fresh, but the sindhi papads were very good and worth a try.

A special trial of freshly made chole and kulcha with pyaaz and chilli definitely needs to be tried out.

Finally over to Desserts – The soufflé, bakery items seem to be outsourced and hence not much to write about; however the gulab jamun and fresh jalebi was outstanding. The much touted firni and stone ice cream definitely needs work or taken off the menu.

A special mention of the outstanding Service right from the beginning till the end, when they give you a small box of jalebis as a gift is appreciated.

It is a good place to go have couple of drinks with starters, and maybe try the mains & desserts.
