An extremely disappointing discussion & meeting took place today that made me recollect a thought -

“Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person, is like expecting a lion not to attack you because you are a vegetarian”

The next 6-9 months would be extremely crucial to me because -

Some battles have to be fought alone, some paths have to be crossed alone, so never be emotionally attached with anyone because you never know when you have to walk alone.

Have changed over the years but unfortunately have not been able to practice this completely!

People spend too much time trying to perfect something before they actually do it. Instead of waiting to perfect, run with what you’ve got, and fix it as you go!

Very true, but human being, such as they are want to have everything perfect in an imperfect world, where in they are also not quite perfect:)

Every morning a lion wakes up it knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. it dose not matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle… when sun comes up, you would better be running.”

To give this the right perspective - In today’s world, does not matter gazelle, lion or human, to survive you need to keep running faster than the herd……

Some one has rightly said “Many things can be preserved in alcohol. Dignity is not one of them.”

It is painful to see, professionals behaving in an unbecoming manner during parties once the liquor starts flowing. And then pretend nothing really happened the next day morning.

Two lovely ladies & good friends (Loveleen from Bangalore & Bela from Mumbai) though both of them do not know each other sent this extremely apt text to me:
“Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways – Chardonnay in one hand – chocolate in the other – body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…..Woo What a ride!!!”
