Coffee??

Not much of a difference in terms of coffee or ambiance between CCD, Barista, Costa, Coffee World but at least barista in malad & lokhandwala is polite & quick; coffee world allows surfing & does not make faces if interviews are going on!

Only the different sizes cups seemed diff…..They need a real differentiator if they want to change thoughts.

An old institution that has now gone seedy & tacky. They need to renovate the entire place up. The food is consistently inconsistent in terms of sambhar being sweet & sour; hot to cold; service outstanding to non existent. Real waste!

A Landmark of sorts in Lokhandwala Market. Covering South Indian, Fast Food of all Sorts, Punjabi Cuisine, Chinese Cuisine, Beverages ( Fresh Fruit Juice and Milk Shakes ), Ice Creams and Kulfi (Pista is Yum). Personally , i enjoy their Hot Dog, Pav Bhaji , and Dahi Batata Puri. Have seen it constantly reinvent itself to meet the needs. The hot dog fight against subway, the pizza fight against Dominos & gang, ensure that its loyal clientèles returns!

A small dingy cart just before the gurudwara, in business since nearly 1999. Typical Calcutta rolls including the smell, taste & price. Value for money stuff. You will find it populated by college crowd or even service people getting down at the bus stop, picking up a couple of rolls on their way home. Some of the old timers continue parking their cars & having a roll, before the drive off. Closes by 10 pm. On & off good delivery service most of the time. Consistency in taste has been maintained. Has been featured by midday etc.:) Definitely worth a dekho!

This one is specially for those late night birds, who now have to drink less but still need food to keep them going after a party or movie. It remains open till 1 am in the night. After that you need to call up on the cellphone & then reach there, the packet would be handed over to you! Super Bhurji, tava pulao, bisleri water are served! Have fun….& Try it out

Finally made it to Bhagwati at around 11.30 pm on friday. Pretty quiet with brisk service. Tried out different things beginning with Bhel (OK) Pani Puri (Pani could do with a little more khatta & puris need to be more crisp)Sada & Rava Dosa(Dosa excellent, sambhar good for gujju, chutney a bit watery Overall Good) Cheese pizza, pretty good & my daughter gave 100+ marks for genuine sams chilli sauce that even shiv sagar does not give. And finally Pav Bhaji with Chatni Fry & papads…..Yum! Excellent….and will be a regular

A chain of them but not all of them are good. However this is excellent for its pav bhaji; south indian & veg hot dog. The masala pav (both the current & 1999) are worth a try. Recently I have seen people ordering punjabi & chinese…going by which it must be good, but Not ME…Here it has to be idli sambhar, followed by Rava Sada & Pav Bhaji(shared:)) Service friendly, on the road, parking not an issue, a must visit at least once a month.
