I have always heard about this place, more recently from my daughter who had visited with her friends.
Overseas visitors – 4 children below 10 – gave me an opportunity to visit this place on Saturday afternoon.
It is situated in a mall where besides the restaurant, golds gym and salon, nothing seems to really work.
The place is nicely decorated with a kind of jungle theme, with very dim lighting (Not romantic).
It operates on buffet system
Starters:
Vegetarian – Pizza, garlic bread, Nachos (Pizza had a rubbery kind of cheese but the base was very crisp, gralic bread and Nachos were much better)Paani Puri – ok; canape, crispy veg, paneer tikka – all average; though the dal wada were very good with the green chutney.
Non Vegetarian – Chicken tikka – good, tandoori chicken – bad, fish koliwada – piping hot and very good, schezwan chicken was nice.
Mains – There were the obligatory two vegetables, two non vegetarian, dal, breads, papad, pickle, salad, raita.
Desserts – Mousse, cake, gulab jamun and three types of ice creams
All in all the food was average and at nearly the same cost China ! or Grillopolis is a much better option.
