An old favourite, so much so that my daughter used to insist making a pit stop on weekends when she was taken to town.

Over the years it receded from memory, the dividers and no parking issues added to just getting home, if one were even that part of town.

A couple of days ago, daughter was going for a wedding with friends and I dropped them to Bombay Central. On the way back took the E Moses road and came out near Worli Naka and saw the bakery open. Just could not resist.

Got down and bought a whole host of things:
Brun Pav 6
Ladi Pav 2
Roll 2
Mawa cake 4
Pattice 1
Makhaniya biscuit 500 gms
Khari 250 gms

All of this for less than ₹200/-

No wonder people still stand in a queue when it opens.

The taste was just as one remembered from decades ago.

I love the Marriott or Sofitel or Trident breakfast BUT brun Maska and Kadak chai is still best…..our salesman days breakfast for ₹15/-

Wah! Bombay meri Jaan…
