Thursday once again, not too hungry, and decided to try out a new place as I tend to order less and eat less at a new place. Passing by Oshiwara, thought of having a single dish sizzler, when we saw the glittering board Quessa and decided to try it out.

It is on the second floor above & run by Shreeji the gujarati owned, shetty run restaurant. The entrance is a bit weird, passing via the back of the bar and is pretty large. Being a thursday, there were quite a number of tables full.

We ordered a virgin mojito and old monk; they do have a 1 on 1 free on alcohol during the week.

This was accompanied by cheesy garlic bread – bread was quite nice, crusty but cheese seemed to be Amul so did not really work for me. The fries were a different matter and worked exceedingly well along with the sweet & spicy sauce given along with it. We also tried the token favourite Nachos of my wife to represent Mexico, which were pretty shettyish and out of the box kind, did not work for me.

For the main, we decided to split the Pasta Rosso which was very good; though the delay in garlic bread led to it being consumed quickly. Overall a nice meal and definitely a repeat visit to try out a couple of other things on the menu. But do not go expecting authentic Italian, Mexican and you won’t be disappointed.
