Another mall visit on a client’s behalf. Work over, had a coffee whilst trying to think of lunch, of course the regular were there, but in a mood to try out something different, and a colleague recommended trying this out. My experience with hot pot and stir fry have not been the best and hence was not too enthusiastic about it, but went along with everyone.

Tried the Silky Dim Sum steam dumplings which were very good; the crunchy chicken wings – excellent; but the mains were a bit of let down, I went for the Wok opting for burnt garlic, where there was an overpowering use of garlic whilst the noodles were good, the chicken pieces needed to be dug into for. But the quantity was huge – two starters and one main course is definitely sufficient for 3 people as an afternoon lunch.

The service was quick and pretty good, however the dual entry of menu first by the customer and then again at the cash, before processing could be addressed by some nifty technology solution to make it faster.

Definitely worth checking out.
