I had visited and written about Bombay Barbeque here in January 2016.

We had been meaning to go there as a family and an impromptu plan made it possible last week.

Fortunately being a week day no reservation was required and we were quickly seated, at a table for four where one chair was missing and in spite of asking the missing chair never turned up.

The veg starters were ok – corn, paneer, mushroom in the grill; which were ok, nothing really extraordinary. Thai, Tikki and something else was served which was the same.

The chaat offering was good – Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, Sev Puri and aloo Tikki were worth a repeat and were done.

Out of three of us only one opted for the mains – paneer, dal, Cajun potatoes, mix veg and salad.

We decided to ask for Pasta – reasonably ok, at least it was hot and margherita pizza where they ran out of cheese and seemed more like a small papad with cheese.

Desserts left us deserted – Fruits were missing, cake was best qvoided, jalebis were burnt; ice cream and Gulab Jamun saved the day.

The service was good and consistent. They called the next day and when I shared the feedback they said “we will pass your feedback ”

The menu needs a drastic overhaul but probably works for them.
