This is 75 seater lounge and bar in Juhu. One fine day in April decided to on a meet up with old colleagues and decided to try it out.

A reservation done, was not done when the colleague reached there, fortunately there was lot of space even on a friday at 6 pm. All of us soon reached and ordered the Desi Daaru which were basically small quarters mixed and named after different regions of India. Quite innovative and nice. A couple of us felt the alcohol was less but given that the price was right we did not say much. We tried the UP Tharra, Galabo UP, Badi Saunf, Kesar kastoori, Laila bihar, Santra Maharashtra interspersed with beer.

The chakhna is pretty good and we tried all of it – Popcorn, malasa peanuts (not good), chana chor garam, drunken bhel and garlic humus with lavach.

The cheese stuffed Bhavnagri chillies were outstanding – a must try. The jalapeno and cheese poppers were also pretty good whilst in the non veg pepper chicken lollopop and beer batter fried fish with tartar sauce was excellent.

The service was quite good, prompt and no hustling except when one of the ‘Managers’ tried to ask if we could shift to a smaller table.

The entrance and stairs need to be lighted and covered with anti skid stripes but I guess that is always a low priority for most of the places.

Whilst the colleagues left by a respectable time, other friends dropped in and the party continued. All in all a good place to hang out – but gets extremely crowded with teeny boppers also post 9 pm on a friday. But it always ends with Bollywood 🙂
