A Pre diwali visit with colleagues. Had heard good things, so decided on it. Booked via Zomato ‘Book a Table’ and reached on time, in fact a little early.

The staff did not have details about the Zomato booking, but was ok to seat us at any of the tables since most were empty. And they normally got filled by 9 pm.
They had some xl, xxl, xxxl offer and JD offer But the cocktails looked good. So decided on that. Ordered 2.5 litre bucket of Mojito which was quite good but could have done with a bit less sugar (sir, everything is Pre mixed by Chef). The third bucket felt virgin Mojito with a little less alcohol in it. And yes another place that said ‘Sir we don’t have the special ice to make frozen Margarita’

There were 5 of us so tried a variety of stuff.

Samosa Pav – excellent and a must try.
Cheese and gherkin balls – again quite good.
Lamb kebab – barely palatable. Chewey and cold. Called, showed, and complained but no reaction.
Chicken Empanada – Ok but not something that I would order again or miss.
Pizza – This is where the evening went downhill. We decided to order half and half and did so. BUT were told that it cannot be done. In spite of their having written on the menu. The server, captain came in succession BUT apparently the Chef has a rule that you cannot order veg and non veg together. No amount of discussion including with the manager helped. “The chef and management has decided that it is not suitable” The recommended chicken and Goan combo was ordered but the Goan half was beyond pathetic – shared with the manager to no response, so was left after couple of pieces but the chicken was definitely nice.
This put off the mood and we called for the cheque. So a slice of complimentary cheese cake was given but sorry that also did not work.
In all this time in spite of repeatedly asking for the Chef, he never made an appearance.

A nice place that would have had us going again but the attitude does not work for us.
